Pokémon: Let's Go to the Internet (Pokémon x Wreck-It Ralph, ft. OC named Cynel)

This piece was drawn as the official cover art for a major crossover fiction project.

The scene illustrates the central characters, Cynel, Pikachu, Ralph, and Vanellope, looking out over the sprawling, cyberpunk-inspired metropolis of the Social Media District.

My focus for this illustration was on environmental storytelling and scale, using the towering neon infrastructure of the web to contrast the game-console characters as they look out at a massive, unfamiliar world.
